Abstract
Este artigo faz um resumo geral sobre os aspectos legais do uso e comércio de programas de computador. As informações contidas aqui visam orientar os gerentes e empregados de instituições diversas a respeito de quais detalhes são importantes para escolha, compra e instalação de programas de computador. Será analisado também a onda crescente de desenvolvimento de programas gratuitos, com atenção especial para a licença GPL (GNU Public License).

Upon receipt of accepted manuscripts, authors will be invited to complete a copyright license to publish the paper. At least the corresponding author must send the copyright form signed for publication.
