Abstract

This paper presents a methodology for automatic synthesis of digital circuits using the evolutionary computation technique. The proposed method finds the minimized logical function of the digital circuit from the truth table of binary data with values of input and output. Genetic operators are applied to Boolean equations in the form of sum of products. The proposed methodology makes possible the project and implementation of digital circuits by circuits evolution.
